preserve your business or help a business to retain key people.

structure the proper plan for you.

We have plans for that provide short term coverage for up to a year. John and Mary Ann are licensed with many companies that provide Medicare Supplemental plans. We can discuss Medicare Advantaged plans and the Part D prescription drug plans. You may have insurance to protect your home in case of fire and other losses. You may own life insurance to replace income
and provide for final expenses, but what happens if you become disabled and your paycheck stops? Not only do the monthly
expenses keep coming in, but additional expenses could also be incurred. Disability coverage can provide peace of mind and
income for those monthly expenses, without your having to deplete your assets.
Perhaps you have a group disability income plan at work. Take the time to review it as to how long it will provide a benefit,
the definition of "disability" and what other factors could reduce the benefit payable. Most individual plans allow the
purchase of a benefit up to 50% of earned income. Benefits paid are tax-free.
Perhaps you have had the personal experience or know someone who has had to place a loved one in a nursing home or
extended care facility or has had to procure Hospice care. These events can be very traumatic emotionally and physically.
To compound problems, the expense can be devastating. Entire life savings can be "wiped out" to pay for such care.
Medicare does not very well address the problem, nor does medical insurance.
Long-Term Care can provide the necessary monthly income to pay for these expenses, whether it is for home health care,
nursing home or extended care facility. Optional benefits available can provide for wheel chairs, special beds, a ramp
and other special needs.
Personal Umbrella Liability
Accidents happen and litigation sometimes follows. You can become the target of legal action and face potentially huge
judgments along with high defense costs.
Some claim examples:
There is one thing these claims had in common. They all ended with jury awards of $600,000 to over $2 million.
- A parent transporting children to a sporting event was involved in an accident and two children were seriously injured... the parent was sued.
- A dog attacked an individual and the person lost their eye...the dog owner was sued.
- A homeowner with a swimming pool invited guests over. A guest slipped into the pool and suffered a serious head injury... the homeowner was sued.
An umbrella policy is designed to provide additional dollars for you once your primary policy limits have been exhausted.
Legal defense costs are usually covered on most policies and are in addition to the liability limits.
